Drove out to Black Diamond with the kids to visit Marv's for lunch. We had burgers and shakes which were all delicious. The decor is old diner with lots of pics from the 50s. The kids enjoyed putting quarters into the jukebox at our table. Its worth the trip out!
A VERY fun place with good, solid food! Really enjoyed our time on the July long weekend, played some tunes on the jukebox and had a really good burger and milkshake.We'll be back!
I am giving it three stars because the Burguers is delicious and the decor really takes you back in time. However, if I were the owner, I would try and improve the service (I mean, when there are so many people complaining about it, it means it is time for a change!) and also, the onion rings portion is EXTREMILY small. For the amount we get, I would just include it as a side with the burguer at no extra charge. If I am paying for a portion of it separately, I would expect a little bit more then what I got. Please take to heart all these reviews. I think the place has great potential and I will probably give it another chance! :)
An adorable little 50s diner! Great for the atmosphere and the wall jukeboxes that let you choose a tune for a quarter. The ice cream sodas are great and the fries are incredible. Don't expect big portions, but just the right amount like a diner should. If you have never been and you like the 50s, you definitely should!
Disappointing to say the least as this place has been on my list for along time. Tiny cheeseburger with very little flavour and sad toppings. The bun was the best part. Fries were extra crispy, but portion was very small. McDonalds angus burgers are better.
